Lookout Tower / Wolf Mountains

My life is changing – spending more time alone. Something symbolic about my weekly commute to the Lookout Tower here in the Wolf Mountains.

One chapter in my life is closing and I really have no idea where I’m going or what is next. So, I go to the Lookout and think.

For the first time in a long time a woman was kind to me and for that I am thankful.

I am most thankful to my Crow friends who allow me to stay on their land, love me, make me laugh and freely give! Woody, Benny, Holly, Ashley…thanks for friendship! Cherished!

So, no matter where my boots land…Lodge Grass and these mountains are forever home.

  1. You surely have beautiful scenery out there. Praying the Lord will give you wisdom and guidance! Love and miss you!

  2. Praying for you, my brother. There is a certain cabin that keeps coming to mind…. I think it needs a caretaker, and I couldn’t think of a better one. Just thinking. I am grateful how our Heavenly Father works. I pray that He clearly lights your path one step at a time. I am honored to have become friends with you.

  3. There is always a certain peace to be found in being alone…as long as your “alone-ness” is the chosen kind. I have been alone in the middle of a crowd. Find your cabin, follow your “boots”. Take the trail that leads to inner peace and with the Father, you are never lonely. I, too, am honored to have met you…
